Last year my dress obsession appeared pretty late in the summer and I picked up a few at Target, which usually has some great ones. However, I started my search early this year and went back to basics. The LOFT, Ann Taylor and Everlane came through in a big way. And newcomers Talbots, Boden and Hill House have found a place in my heart. As you can see I don’t have a go-to for dresses, but I know what I like and will search high and low for it.

The price points are all over the place because I believe you should be open to spending money on a good summer dress. While I like dresses to be under $100, I’m open to spending more on a dress that I love. The prices of the dresses I love are a bit all over the place, however they always go on sale.
